AKU Finnmark AS has many years of experience and is a well-qualified arranger of tours in the wilderness, fly-fishing trips and other nature-based arrangements. We are based in what is perhaps the most resource-rich part of Norway. In Europe’s final wilderness you can bag fauna you could only dream of catching anywhere else. Of course, we can never guarantee anything, but as a firm with more than 20 years of experience, we have learned what it takes to meet the needs of hunters and anglers who come up here to Finnmark. And more still, perhaps. We have a permanent staff of tour managers and guides who have a lot of shooting and fishing experience. The know these wide open spaces and its fishing waters, and they also possess the cultural skills native to this area.

Our wilderness arrangements are usually combined with canoeing. Transport is by seaplane or helicopter. We often have pure trekking trips combined with fishing.

We know all about fly-fishing
We can give you the necessary training if you would like to try a fly-fishing expedition. We know exactly what tackle you will need and where to fish. Experience has taught us just which flies are most suitable where. One of our favourite flies is Streaking Caddis, and we can also give you an outline of regional variations, where to fish and what tackle you need.

AKU Finnmark has its own shooting and fishing information centre.

We are based in Alta. Our shooting and fishing office on Bossekoptorget is near the tourist information office. Fishing licences for Finnmark can be bought here. We also arrange all types of transport as well as licences, sell you maps and help you find good places to hunt or fish.
