Sápmi
Sami culture is unique. It is based on a distinctive, close
relationship with nature. This culture has been shaped by a landscape
which has made unusual demands on the people, who through generations
have built their lives here and sought to make a living from the
Arctic Ocean, the fjords and the tundra. The ability to listen to
the voice of nature and adapt to its demands has given shape to
the variety that is Sapmi today. |
